Contacting Gear Depot Support

Which channel to use, and how to get a useful answer quickly.

Pick the right channel

  • A money problem with a paid order → open a dispute from that order.

A ticket cannot move money.

  • A listing or user breaking the rules → use the Report action on that

listing or seller.

  • Anything else → open a support ticket from the Support Center.

Using the right one gets you to the right team with the right context already attached.

Opening a ticket

Go to Support in your account and choose Create support ticket. Pick the closest category, write a clear subject, and describe the problem.

Where the ticket is about a specific order or listing, attach it. You can only attach orders and listings on your own account, and doing so saves an entire round trip of us asking which one you meant.

What to include

  • What you were trying to do.
  • What you expected to happen.
  • What actually happened, including the exact wording of any error.
  • Screenshots, if they show the problem.

What not to include

Never send passwords, full payment card numbers, bank credentials, or API keys. Support does not need them.

What happens next

Your ticket appears in the Support Center with its status. You will be notified when support replies, and the ticket shows whether it is waiting on us or on you. Replies stay on the ticket so the whole history is in one place.
