Sell your DJ gear on GearDepot
GearDepot is a specialized marketplace for used professional DJ equipment — players and turntables, mixers, controllers, and complete DJ systems. Listing is free, most DJ gear ships as an ordinary parcel with a label bought right on the order, and every sale runs through a protected checkout: the buyer pays the platform, and your payout releases after the post-delivery inspection window.

Why sell it on GearDepot
- A dedicated DJ department built for working and aspiring DJs — organized by player, mixer, and controller, not a general classifieds feed.
- Two-axis condition grading and photos of the actual unit set expectations up front, which is what prevents disputes on faders and jog wheels.
- Complete DJ systems (players + mixer, or controller rigs) sell as packages with the components itemized.
How the sale works
- List free at geardepot.com/sell — structured condition grading, photos, and specs; no account needed until you post.
- Every listing must meet the marketplace's publishing requirements before it can go live. Most listings publish immediately; imported and freight listings are always checked by staff first, and GearDepot reviews listings and can hold or remove anything that falls short.
- The buyer pays the platform at checkout — the money is captured and held, never a promise of payment.
- After delivery, the buyer has a 72-hour inspection window; your payout releases to your verified bank account on approval or when the window closes without a dispute.
- Creating a listing is free. When an item sells, GearDepot charges 5% of the item subtotal (minimum $5, capped at $750). Shipping is excluded from the fee. New accounts pay no marketplace transaction fee for their first 30 days.
Shipping and freight
Nearly all DJ gear parcels cleanly: box it well (original packaging if you have it), buy the label on the order, and tracking syncs automatically. Local pickup works for club installs and heavy flight-cased setups.

Frequently asked questions
What DJ gear sells here?
Professional players and turntables, mixers, controllers, and complete systems. If it belongs in a booth or a mobile rig, there's a subcategory for it.
How fast do I get paid after my controller sells?
The buyer's payment is captured at checkout and held. Ship with the label bought on the order; after delivery, the buyer's inspection window runs, and your payout releases to your verified bank account on approval or when the window closes without a dispute.
Is it free to list DJ equipment?
Yes — creating a listing costs nothing. Any marketplace transaction fee is charged on the item subtotal only, and only when it sells; the current, binding schedule is published in the Store Policy.
