Setting up payouts
Payout details live under My Store → Financials. You will need to complete the payment provider's verification before a payout can be sent to you.
When you get paid
You are not paid at checkout. The buyer's payment is held, and the payout is released after the buyer approves the item or the 72-hour inspection window ends — whichever happens first. If the buyer opens a dispute during the window, the payout stays paused until it is resolved.
The platform fee
Gear Depot charges 5% of the item subtotal, with a minimum of $5.00 and a cap of $750 per order. The fee is calculated on the item subtotal only — not on shipping.
The fee that applied to an order is recorded on that order when it is placed. If the fee policy changes later, past orders are not recalculated.
