Who you are on the marketplace. An Individual sells their own gear; a Business is a registered company with a storefront, a team, and the Verified Business mark to work toward. Switching is instant and costs nothing.
What you get on top: a 3% transaction fee instead of 5%, plus the seller tools. It is a subscription — monthly, cancel whenever.
A plan never changes your account type, and it never buys trust. Paying for Business Pro does not make you a Business, and no amount of money buys the Verified Business mark — that is earned by verification, which is free. What a plan buys is tools and a rate.

No. Your account type and your plan are separate. A subscription buys tools and a lower transaction rate; it never changes whether you are an Individual or a Business, and cancelling it never changes that either.
Yes. Switching from Individual to Business costs nothing and takes effect immediately — you name your store and add your business details, and your storefront and team accounts unlock right away. We verify the business details afterwards, which is also free. Business accounts cannot be switched back to Individual.
