When pickup is offered
Sellers can offer local pickup on a listing. When they do, you arrange collection through the order after paying.
Pay on Gear Depot, even for pickup
Complete the payment on the platform. Paying the seller in cash on collection puts the transaction outside Gear Depot entirely: there is no payout hold, no inspection window, and no dispute process available to you.
Inspect at collection
Pickup is the one case where you can check the gear before you take it away. Test it there.
